Come Celebrate Tonka’s 75th Birthday in Manhattan!

Start off Labor Day weekend with a Tonka Tough celebration!  Did you know that it’s Tonka’s 75th Birthday this year! Tomorrow, September 2nd is the day to come celebrate at a NYC Playcation where there will be lots of fun activities and photo ops for the whole family.  The TONKA Playcation Truck will be parked at 1 W. 24th Street in New York City on the corner between 5th and 6th Avenue. You can stop by anytime between 10 am and 4 pm.  Activities include:  chalk art, games, prizes and giveaways.  Plus, you’ll have a chance to purchase a very special Tonka 75th Anniversary LIMITED-EDITION Metallic Dump Truck; this truck will only be available in-person during this live event and will not be sold in stores. There will also be a special guest appearance from Shaquille O’Neill who will be  handing out “TONKA Playcation Kits” to families who pledge to prioritize some uninterrupted playtime together.

 

PAWS OF FURY: The Legend of Hank Now Available on Premium Video on Demand

Outside enjoying the summer night while opening this special box to celebrate PAWS OF FURY: The Legend of Hank! The movie is now available on Premium Video on Demand. It will also be available on Digital 9/13 and Blu-Ray 10/18.

 

 

The film features an all-star cast of voice talent, including Michael Cera, Ricky Gervais, Mel Brooks, George Takei, Aasif Mandvi, Gabriel Iglesias, Djimon Hounsou, Michelle Yeoh and Samuel L. Jackson.  Hank is a hard-on-his-luck hound who finds himself in a town full of cats that need a hero to defend them from a ruthless villain who has an evil plot to wipe their village off the map. A reluctant teacher helps train him in the role of town samurai and team up with the villagers to save the day. But, there’s one big problem – cats hate dogs! The J Team! is now available on DVD! This movie, which is loosely based on JoJo Siwa’s life, takes you on the journey of JoJo when she is kicked out of her dance troupe. She starts her own unique dance team and finds her true “sparkle” in the process by learning about friendship and perseverance.  This is such a great movie with so many positive messages and will be adored by the whole family.

Paley Center Celebrates Warner Bros. Discovery’s Shark Week With Multi-Media Exhibit

If you’re in the New York City area, The Paley Center for Media is celebrating Warner Bros. Discovery’s Shark Week with their multi-media exhibit. You can come face-to-face with sharks with their state-of-the-art VR sets, play a couple of rounds of Hungry Shark World in PaleyGX or test your shark trivia on interactive screens. You can see how you measure up against a life-size image of a great white shark and of course, there are multiple photo ops available including a retro plush shark throne. To get you even more in shark week mode, there will be Shark Week episodes streaming on the big screen during your visit!

The new series Kung Fu Panda The Dragon Knight is now available on Netflix! Dragon Master Po is about to go on a much-deserved vacation – a delicious food tour of China! The food tour is put on hold when a series of events leads Po towards a quest for justice. In celebration of the premiere, we were sent these gorgeous dumplings, chalk dumplings that is, to help us draw our own Dragon Master Po.
