New 2022 Toy Reveal – First Wave of Star Trek Figures from Playmates Toys!

Playmates Toys has released a first look of their collection of Star Trek action figures and accessories which are set to release in summer 2022.  After a 12-year absence, Playmates marks its return as the global licensee across all of the ViacomCBS Star Trek properties including action figures, role play, ships and vehicles.  The first wave in the Star Trek Universe collection will be available online in 2022, in stores in the fall and includes 10 characters and items. *Image provided by Playmates Toys.*

Playmates Toys is known for their attention to detail and these figures are no exception. They are five-inch, 1:14 scale with 14 points of articulation. Depending on the character, each one will be packaged in either 1990s nostalgic packaging or newly designed Universe packaging.  More figures and accessories from the Star Trek Universe collection are set to release in early 2023.
